Vamoos Connect lets you link your itineraries with interactive hotel guides from our database.

What is Vamoos Connect?

Vamoos works with both travel professionals and hotels — Vamoos Connect brings the two together.

  • Browse our hotel database and link properties directly to your itineraries.

  • The hotel profile appears behind your itinerary in the app, giving clients rich details about where they’ll stay.

Previewing and amending property content

  • In the Operator Portal, go to Settings > Connect.

  • Search or browse the database to find a property.

  • Select a property to Preview its content (opens in a new tab).

  • Click Edit to customise the long and short descriptions your clients will see.

  • You can view the default text and add your own wording if required.

Carousel View

You have the option to turn off the Carousel View.

To do this:

Step 1: Open Settings 
Head to Settings at the top of the page and select Connect


Step 2: Stays Settings
Click on the settings icon. 


Step 3: Turn off the Carousel View
Toggle off the
Display carousel view for Connect properties button and confirm by pressing CLOSE.



Adding a Vamoos Connect property to a trip

  1. Open your Vamoos List and select a trip.

  2. Go to Locations in the left-hand menu.

  3. Turn on the Connect switch above the map.

  4. Connect properties appear as orange pins with a “V”.

  5. Click a pin and press Add Stay to add the property to your locations list.

  6. The added Connect property will be highlighted in orange in the list below the map.

TOP TIP: If many properties are close together, they appear as a clustered number. Click the number to zoom in and see each property pin.

FAQs

  • Q: Can I edit all hotel content?
    A: Images and core hotel data are provided by the property, but you can customise the long and short descriptions

  • Q: How do I spot Connect-enabled properties?
    A:On the trip map they appear as orange pins with a “V”.
